There will be live Christmas music, activities for kids, and local artisans selling a variety of goods and handmade Christmas presents. Outside there will be s'mores, an outdoor Christmas movie, and local food trucks to enjoy. The Artisan Market is a unique opportunity to support local businesses and artisans during the Christmas season and a percentage of every purchase made goes to support a local nonprofit organization, this year's recipient is The Sharing Shed.

FELABRATION STL

Root to the Fruit Music & The Cross Pollination Movement present “FELABRATIONSTL”, Friday October 18th at newly opened BOOM BOX, 8pm. Celebrate the life and music of Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Festivities include best dressed contest, complimentary face painting, local brand giveaways, Fela’s music plus international dance grooves, and more to be announced.

Grove Fest is more than just a festival—it's a vibrant annual community celebration that highlights the unique spirit of the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood, affectionately known as "the Grove." For 18 years, Grove Fest transforms Manchester Avenue into a lively, bustling venue, bringing together local businesses and residents for this one-day extravaganza offering something for everyone.

Frizz Fest is a Natural Beauty Festival created to fulfill the mission of Frizzy By Nature, to encourage self-love and inspire confidence among women, specifically Black Women. Frizz Fest is ultimately a space where the Black community feels safe, seen, and celebrated.

Black Pride St. Louis knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 1994, our Gay & Lesbian Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Black Pride St. Louis.

St. Louis's very own Adjo Honsou is a contestant on season three of The Great American Recipe on Nine PBS. Join Adjo and a few hundred of your closest friends for a screening of Episode 7. Grab some food from Adjo's food truck, FUFU n' Sauce, and find out if she will advance to the finals!

Light snacks will be provided and a cash bar is available. Please bring your own chair. In case of inclement weather, this event will move inside Nine PBS's Bayer Studio.

KIDS 13 and Under are Free

Join us this July when the Museum’s front yard is transformed into the city’s biggest cinema during the Art Hill Film Series, a St. Louis tradition of films, food, and music. This year’s featured films is Meet Me in St. Louis on July 19. Music, food trucks, a cash bar, and more preshow festivities start at 6 pm. No tickets are required for the event. The featured film will be shown at 9 pm.

In the event of severe weather, the Museum will announce any delay or cancellation on Facebook, Instagram, and slam.org. If a film is canceled due to weather, it will not be rescheduled.

More than 20 local food trucks gather for an evening of friends, fun, live music, and plenty of great food. St. Louis’ favorite mobile restaurants dish out fresh fare and local brews in Tower Grove Park.

FROM SCIENTIST TO FUFU N' SAUCE

Scientist Adjo Honsou loves to share the West African cuisine she features in her popular food truck, Fufu n' Sauce. Enjoy fried plantain morsels with a sweet flavor, chicken yassa - a slightly spicy thick comforting stew with chicken and onions braised with a blend of spices and mustard served with rice, plus their famous hibiscus tea brewed in-house with hibiscus leaves imported from Togo, West Africa and sweetened with cane sugar.
